We founded the startup Comet to build a space where you could be yourself and meet other curious souls roaming the universe. There was no mindless scrolling or swiping — just fun ways to express yourself creatively via collage, and real, authentic conversations via audio roulette and direct messaging.

We pivoted to Comet from Voicebar and grew a high quality, retentive community of users in closed beta. Comet was backed by institutional investors and angels including founders of Scale AI, Faire and Deel.
