Voicebar was a venture-backed audio dating app that matched thousands of users on blind audio dates, before it was pivoted to Comet. We raised a pre-seed round from institutional investors and angels including founders of Scale AI, Faire and Deel.

The vision of Voicebar was to strip dating back to what it should be: people getting to know each other. With curated matches and no mindless swiping, each call delivered a piece of unique humanity. On Voicebar, we wanted people to be able to show up as their most authentic self.
